History: –

“Nefertem” was an ancient god of the gods of Lower Egypt, and he was considered from an early age as the son of the god “Ptah” and “Sekhmet” in the “Memphis” triad. His head with a passionflower, two high rosettes, and his worshipers imagined him to be an open passionflower. The statue of “Nefertem”, which was found next to Saqqara’s wooden coffins, represents the god of healing and beauty in ancient Egyptian mythology.
Pharaoh was like a “successor of Jeb,” and the ancient Egyptian believed that Pharaoh was nothing but confirmation of “the throne of Jeb.”

For the god “Nefertem”, the people considered it as a flower that sprouted and emitted over the body of the god “fields”, and they also considered it as a flower that the god “Ra” holds and brings it close to his nose. by smelling flowers, and perhaps this is the reason why “Nefertem” was known as the god of perfumes, and this was attributed to “Nefertem” an important role in the myths of creation, and it was called “Nefertem Atom”, or “Ra the Younger” because in the theory of “Thermopolis” he was the child whose “lotus” flower shines in the sacred sea of the Salkin, and from whose tears the human race came. He also played a role in funeral thought, as he is a faithful assistant to the deceased in the other world.
